This CD is about collaborating with very talented people to
explore the wonderful world of country music. I give special
thanks to my co-writers – Bj Peace, George Smith, Ernie Albert,
Andrea Standley & the Songsinc writers.
I also thank the amazing singers, musicians &
engineers/producers that made these songs come to life –
especially Stacy Hogan from A Writer's Paradise, Michael
Salacuse & Ernie Albert from ERX Productions, as well as Cyndea
& John Wendell for their great critiques. Most

The songs on this CD are my Heartsongs, but the only
reason I can write them and present them this way is because of the
love and support I get from my wife and children - Gwen, Dan, and
Jesse (and of course Lucky, the wonder dog). We recorded most
of the rhythm section tracks together in the studio to give the CD
as much of a live feel as we could. If you need more, please
turn the volume up, yell loudly,... and pretend you are being
politely escorted out of the bar for rude and repugnant behavior.

Drifting started out as a simple
idea to create a solo piano recording of some of the songs I wrote
for our wedding (plus a few more) and present it to my wife, Gwen,
as a renewal of my love. Drifting ended up as a unique set of
interpretations and improvisations of my songs by David Morgan, and
although it is still my gift to Gwen, it has become something that
we both can share with anyone who seeks to re-acquiant themselves
with remembrances of special times, people and places.
